Frequently Asked Questions
Can I pay for my reservation when I arrive?
Yes. Please note, however, that if you do not pay at the time of your reservation, we cannot guarantee that your spot will be available. It is better to pay beforehand online, if possible, to ensure that your spot is reserved.
What forms of in-person payment do you accept?
Credit card, check (made out to "Nomadic Press"), or cash (exact change) are all fine.
Help! I've reserved my spot but forgot to pay for my reservation. Where do I do that?
No problem. Please just visit our website store and select the type of booking that you need to pay for (hourly, daily, monthly, weekly). Keep a record of your payment once done to show us upon arrival. Click here to be taken to our website store.
If I purchase a weekly or monthly co-working space, but it is mid-week or mid-month, does this mean I lose part of the week/month?
No. Monthly and weekly blocks run on 30-day and 7-day blocks of days, respectively. So, if you purchase a weekly block for a Wednesday, for instance, this will be valid until the end of day on the following Tuesday. Likewise, if you purchase a monthly block mid-January, this will be valid until end of day on the 14th of February.
Am I paying for a full station or a seat at a station?
Your price includes one seat at the station.
Help! I still have questions.
No problem. Please just shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will gladly assist.
INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?
Our co-working spaces are fully volunteer-run, so we are always in need of helping hands. Shifts are four-hours long and run from 9-1:00 PM and 1-5:00 PM, and include free access to high-speed WiFi, Red Bay Coffee, and use of our 27-inch iMac (as long as it has not been booked). Book your volunteer hours by clicking here.
As noted, our co-working spaces are completely volunteer run, and as we get up and running, we wanted to share what shifts at Station: Fruitvale have been covered so you can plan your co-working time at the space. In due time, the place will be bustling with activity during all hours of operation, and we look forward to seeing you soon! A note on the calendar below: shifts run from 9-1:00 PM and 1-5:00 PM, so if you see an entry for 9:00 or 1:00 below, you can know that someone will be there for that four-hour block.
