Join Natasha Dennerstein, renowned Bay Area poet, as she leads attendees through her 16-week course, "Form and Contemporary Poetry: A Course for Practicing Poets." The course will run from May 13, 2017, to September 2, 2017, taking place every Saturday from 12-2:00 PM at the Nomadic Press Fruitvale salon space.

Expenses for courses such as this one are reimbursed for up to $600, which means that this course would be free for you, and you may apply for one grant per fiscal year. Form and Contemporary Poetry: A Course for Practicing Poets: a 16-week Course by Natasha Dennerstein.
Each week we will examine examples of the form from the canon and discuss the nuts and bolts of composing a poem in that form. After the break, we will workshop examples of student-generated work from the previous week.
