Join Nomadic Press in the big back room of The Topaz in Bushwick for a Sunday evening reading lineup headlined and curated by Jennifer Blowdryer. She will be joined by Stephen Boyer, Dia Felix, Katherine Finkelstein, and Geoffrey Bridgman, with music by Robert Leslie.
Donations will be kindly called for, though no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Jennifer Blowdryer is a writer by nature, though the genres change by year and inspiration. As a journalist, she wrote for Maximum Rock’n'roll, New York Press, and Downtown. A co-founder of the seminal Punk Bands the Blowdryers and The White Trash Debutantes, she currently fronts the Jennifer Blowdryer Band. She is currently working on an 86ed documentary and writing and recording songs in NYC. Her most recent Chapbook is "Blowsy" from Personality Press, 2014.
Stephen Boyer is the author of "Parasite" (2013 by Publication Studios), "Ghosts" (2010 by Bent Boy Books), and was a lead compiler of the Occupy Wall Street Poetry Anthology. Currently they're diligently working on a series of nature-related poems. Their work can be found online, in many zines and an assortment of publications.
Dia Felix is a New York City-based writer and filmmaker. She is the author of "Nochita", published by Sister Spit, and has written for numerous blogs, as week as performed her work at many venues including Segue Series and Dixon Place. She is an award-winning digital media producer for museums (Exploratorium, Museum of Arts and Design) and teaches and mentors teens in experimental documentary filmmaking at Reel Works teen filmmaking continuum in Brooklyn. She is also the founder and editor of Personality Press.

Robert Leslie is an indie-folk songwriter who captivates with soaring vocal melodies and deep lyrics on love, distance, and life on the road. He has travelled across three continents supporting himself with street music and has been making a splash in the Brooklyn scene since his arrival in New York in 2013.
