Lonely Christopher is a poet and filmmaker. He is the author of the poetry collection Death & Disaster Series (Monk Books, 2014) and the short story collection The Mechanics of Homosexual Intercourse, which was a 2011 selection of Dennis Cooper's Little House on the Bowery imprint of Akashic Books. His plays have been produced in New York City and China. His film credits include the feature MOM (which he wrote and directed), the shorts We Are Not Here and Petit Lait (which were adapted from his stories), and Crazy House (for which he wrote the screenplay). He lives in Brooklyn.
Jane Ormerod’s books include Welcome to the Museum of Cattle and Recreational Vehicles on Fire (both Three Rooms Press). Born on the south coast of England, Jane now lives in New York City and performs extensively across the United States and beyond. She is a founding editor at great weather for MEDIA, an independent press focusing on edgy and experimental poetry and prose.
Poet and emcee Melissa Czarnik defies category with her genre blending approach to hip hop. Her soulful and sexy flow captivates listeners with intricate lyricism and heartfelt storytelling. She has toured the U.S. and Europe fusing elements of soul, classical and emceeing that satisfies both hip hop and jazz lovers alike. Her latest album, Non Merci has earned her recognition from The Deli Magazine as one of New York City’s Best Emerging Artists, while NPR’s All Songs Considered hails her as a “Soulful, fluid rapper that has produced a surprising, potent and thoughtful mix of funk, jazz, soul and hip-hop.”
